Train is one of the major transportation to travel throughout India. If we suppose to travel we have to book a ticket through irctc.co.in website, to check pnr status & seat availability we use indianrail.gov.in website, to check enquiry status use enquiry.indianrail.gov.in ,it makes quite complex to switch between every sites for each & every service . Integration of all websites into a single website is one of the proposals given by “Government of India-Smart India Hackathon 2017”. This project is to integrate all the railway website services into single website, will help in user convenience and greater popularity. In this project, a common login is used to book tickets, to check PNR status, refund status, for railway enquiry & cancellation of ticket. And single database is used to store & retrieve user information, status of reservation system, train list, time, status & schedule. We generate PNR by auto key generator & to check PNR status we match with the database & display the status. With help of train no & class we can get fare of seat availability. In enquiry section feedback form is used to get their needs.

Among the various applications in this modern world, biomedical devices in the hospitals are one of the most important aspects. Monitoring the status of each patient by the nurse periodically is difficult when it comes to large numbers. Also conveying the information by the nurse to the doctor takes time. The stated two main cons are eliminated. Heart sensor will find the rate of heart beat, MEMS sensor will sense the body movement of the patient and temperature sensor is used to find the temperature of the patient. These sensed values are transmitted by the Zigbee transmitter and it is received by the receiver which isbat the doctor's cabin. The received data are sent to the PC through the interfacing cable and the values are displayed in the LCD and can monitor these values by themselves.

The quality of the fabric or cloth depends on the quality of the yarn. So in order to get a good quality material the yarn must have high tensile strength. It is easier when the tensile strength of the yarn is measured, so the quality of the yarn can also be categorized. There are conventional equipment and methods available to measure the tensile strength of the yarn, but there exists some disadvantages in those methods. This paper proposes to measure the tensile strength of the yarn by taking continuous measurements of tensile strength up to the maximum value (break point) of the yarn so that the exact break point is noted. The exact break point is noted with the help of digital meter. So the drawbacks in conventional methods are rectified. Now the yarn can be easily categorized and it is easy to obtain best quality material.

1,2,3 UG student, Department of ECE, CEG, Anna University, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India.

Increase in demand for Spectrum allocation in ISM bands and Underutilization of some licensed bands lead to the development of a technique called Cognitive Radio in Wireless Sensor Networks. Since WSN usually operates in ISM bands we need to acquire Cognitive Radio into it without sacrificing its energy efficiency. In this paper, we propose an Energy-Aware MAC (EA-MAC) protocol which minimizes the number of spectrum sensing nodes based on the maximum probability of detection and adopting low duty cycled design for WSN nodes. Simulation results shows that the proposed EA-MAC has considerable better probability of detection and less false alarm compared to Eigen-value and cyclo-stationary based hybrid cooperative spectrum sensing methods.

2 Assistant Professor (SG), Dept of ECE, National Engineering College, Kovilpatti, Tamil Nadu.

The design and simulation of coplanar waveguide (CPW) band pass filter (BPF) has been described in this paper. It mainly focuses on Defected Ground Structure (DGS), where U-shaped DGS with open stub in transmission line has been introduced. By etching the DGS pattern in ground and transmission will change the distribution of inductance and capacitance to produce filtering effect. This paper also discusses about the influence of geometrical parameter l for the improvement in the frequency response of band pass filter. As increasing the dimension of the geometric parameter l shift the center frequency to the higher frequencies. This filter offers a bandwidth of 1.65 GHz with pass band ranging from 2.1 GHz to 3.75 GHz with a stop band rejection is about -28 dB.

In RF communication, high data rate is required which requires large band width. The wireless receiver with an LNA which can amplify the signals for a wide range of frequencies is suitable for these applications. Factors affecting bandwidth of amplifier are stray capacitance &inductance in circuit, gain bandwidth product, Cut off frequency, Noise. Existing technology to improve bandwidth includes inductance peaking, Capacitance peaking, Feedback technique, Negative miller capacitance and transimpedance amplifier. The objective of this work is to design two-Stage CMOS Low Noise Amplifier (LNA) using active feedback techniques. The gain, unity gain bandwidth, linearity of the proposed circuit is analysed Active feedback is a Negative feedback in op-amp to reduce distortion and increase high frequency response. In this topology, one transistor is connected below another in cascode fashion. To simulate the proposed circuit, we use ADS (advanced design system)tool as it is suitable for high frequency application.
